Ausar Tesfa Moore, also known as Moor iLL was born on December 20, 1990, in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Rosenberg, Texas. By age 8, his mother enrolled him in his first acting class which initiated his love for performing and filmmaking. Ausar attended Lamar Consolidated High School where he was heavily involved in Speech & Debate. He competed on a national level which led to him receiving invitations from institutions like Harvard University. During this time he developed his love for writing. In 2019 Ausar completed his first film entitled Illville. Illvile is a dramatic-satire that explores the psychology behind police brutality and the negative effects it has on society. Coincidentally he and his wife became survivors of police brutality a little over a year later on May 13, 2020.
